lol,according to my son this is his idea of the perfect male holiday,a woman who cooks,lays out the food,cleans up and then goes out,so that football may be watched till his eyes bleed

I kid, I kid.

Turkey's a-cookin' as we speak, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, veggies, salad, etc. Should be very nice. Every year it seems so nostalgic cause you see all this food you eat one day a year.

So what's everyone thankful for? I'm thankful for the obvious-I've got family, shelter, nourishment. I'm thankful for the performance opportunities I've had in recent months and for the opportunities still to come. And I'm thankful for the date I'm going on tomorrow!

Starting with stuffing samosas and zucchini bread, then Nan, bhatura, chola, saag paneer, turkey tikka masala (my own recipe!), and raitha for the main course.

Desserts include homemade pumpkin pie, homemade peanut butter pumpkin cookies, and then s'mores later on roasted in an outdoor hearth.

I loved the moment I got to spend with my family. Although not everyone could be here today, but their hearts were! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you (it isn't over West Coast, hehe; else belated)!
