It was 18.5k without tax and registration and stuff. I added the 6 CD changer.

The SE comes with the rims, individually numbered badging, door sill enhancements, upper and lower grille enhancement, color tuned strut bar, badged mats.

There's more info at Scion Website

Bleh the stock system will suck, so I don't know why you bothered.

6cd changer... -_-; why didnt you spend money with a mp3 player instead?

nice car. not for me for that price, but nice indeed.

It does read mp3. So I can load up all 6 CDs with mp3s too.

MustangSVT pwnd x6

Not really, we're talking about a pure MP3 player, where you take the deck and offload mp3s right off your computer.

So you just pwned yourself moron.

btw, change your radio's greeting message to "Scion" in japanese.
For further instructions, please PM me.
I used to have a scion tc, but I traded it in for an rsx type s. I couldn't wait for the supercharger, plus my tc was an automatic to boot. Was fun driving an auto while it lasted, but MT is where it's at.

Or change it to "platypus" in Japanese. Who's gonna know anyway?

The stock system for it isn't too bad. Just make sure you select xB mode. You could always do like mine and get something like this ;)

Who's gonna know? *shrug* Just looks cool ;p.
You can change the greeting to "fvck me hard" if you want... how about that?

Uh...I think we mostly agree here.

But does the Kanji for Scion look significantly cooler than that for platypus?

why bother with Celica when you can have a tC now days? toyota should get rid of the Celica....I mean these 2(celica and tC) are essencially the same type of car.

Nice ride btw

ahhh all you youngin's with your fancy cars and loud stereo systems... When I was your age I had a Chevette with a pair of 12" subs driven by a 150 watt amp. No, really I did. And it was cool! :p

Sweet rides Aolj, Dulanic, and DPMaster

Yeah, you paid extra for a VIN number man. Everyone gets an individually numbered badge on every car they buy. ;)

Well, the RS 1.0 has only 1000 unique models of it in Absolute Red. Of course, did you know that the RS 2.0 is going to come out soon? It's going to be in absolute yellow ;)

btw, the tC isn't incredibly quick, but with the low end torque, it makes for quite a peppy ride from first -> third gear... then you lose your power band afterwards.

remember to visit scionlife.com for more information on scion stuff.

Yawp, Toyota replaced the Celica with the tC and killed the MR-S with no direct replacement in sight.

Lightweight and sporty just isn't in as much as heavy and big horespower numbers

wow, that seems pretty cheap.. 18.5 base for the SE w/o the 6 cd? and has the rims, sills, etc....

I just rode in my friends tC... very nice. I hate the cd cover though. I think I'm getting a 3s unexpectedly tho.. maybe. depends on financing.

Nope, I went there on Thursday and it was sitting at the dealership. I just took it without hesitation. Pick it up on Friday. They had to prep it.

E-penis? :p

Just kidding. Nice car and congrats on your purchase :)

Anyhow...when's the factory supercharger coming out?

Actually, they said end of this month. But I couldn't wait. I needed a car for my new job anyways. So, new job, new car.

I will try that.

Very nice, is it quick?

I am still breaking the car in. I got the car with 2 miles on the odometer. But the pick up is pretty good and shifting is very nice from 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 and so on. 1 to 2 has pretty low ratios.

Thanks for the good thoughts! Will post more pics later today when I get the time!
