One hour ago, a leap-second has occured on the world's clocks. Our GPS clocks and time server raws has logged this as:

The scientists and crew just had the nerdiest new years celebration by confirming that all of our data sets have not been affected (sp?) by this leap second, and on behalf of the United States scientific and Naval research community, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

May 2009 be proof that we can live our lives with happiness and resolve despite what gets thrown at us. Anandtech has been a great community, and despite our differences, I'm sure we always will buy each other a beer :beer: and help each other with the ATOT-effects 😛.
