just a psychopath but with a bulldozer instead of a gun

He was a little off, but the city is really what pushed him to that point. Had they just let him use his land it never would have happened. There is nothing more infuriating than municipal land use politics. Enough to turn anyone insane. It seemed everyone was working against him. I think the right thing to do would have been to leave and find another place to run his business but guess he felt they won if he did that.

He shouldn't have been forced to do that in first place. Or at least it should have been disclosed BEFORE he bought the land. That's the problem with the world today, being told what you can and can't do on your own land. Especially when it's ridiculous stuff that is a monumental project. That would have cost 10's of thousands to do.

Imagine you buy a house then there's some new rule that says you're not allowed to live there unless you spend tons of money on some sort of project because of reasons.

Tell us what the reasons are for installing a septic system or sewer hookup and then tell us why there is no state interest in requiring same. Take your time.

Although I must say, the prior was allowed to utilize the concrete mixer sewage method in a that small town for a decade. It's also a commercial property, not residential, so the stakes are much lower.

There is sufficient foundation to accept the potential of "small town warfare" between an elite in Cody Doceff, Ron Thompson and the like enforcing rules in a specific manner to benefit themselves. A political boss rewarding fellow cronies deals in real estate or other benefits is part of the norm of politics, no matter how large or small the scale. Some get punished, like Jack B. Johnson. Others don't.

Obviously that's bad, but the previous owner not forced to do this. There was a septic, it was just not up to their standards. Cities love to play games like that and change rules all the time or change who they apply to, which can screw over people.

Also some cities such as Montreal dump millions of gallons of raw sewage into water but yet that's somehow ok. Cities can do what they want but individuals get all the scrutiny.

Why do people think this guy is redeemable? He has shown literally no effort to deal in reality outside of his little conspiracies theory whacked out little tiny world of ignorance.

And from a lot of the intelligent, nice, and gentle people on this forum. And they've all had the same result and most of them realize what this guy is.

Or when you want to do more with your property than what was there previously... But god forbid the government tells you that you need to do something proper with your sewage (ie, one of the great public health issues that has existed from the dawn of civilization).
