Let me know if you get accepted to Cornell. Then I can laugh at you for wanting to live even temporarily in Ithaca.

its not THAT bad
its pretty in the fall

fuck yes! it's awesome in the fall. the arch of heaven looks best then (if you went there, you know what i am talking about)

Fall is definitely really nice. Spring is good too, except that it starts about two weeks before the semester ends. Summer is nice if you're there. Winter is, well, not that much worse than anywhere else in the Northeast. Any time of year I enjoy the busy humming of the bustling town. (Again, you'll know if you went there).

Good luck, OP!

I got in, sort of. Guaranteed transfer. Basically, go to another school for a year, maintain a 3.0, and I'm automatically accepted to Cornell 🙂. Kick ass.

You forgot to add, SAVE $30k.

Does community college count?

I think certain community colleges do count, but right now I'm looking at Rutgers mainly. I want to get used to the environment of living away from home, with other college students, and have the "freshman experience." We'll see...
