I hope everyone has had a great time during the holiday season

But, now that (for me) its over, its back to business.

We've got several mini-teams, etc. that are getting very popular, and are making TA grow quite a lot. We've even get a University as a subteam (unfortunetly, no Maryland.........stupid "rules"...). Anyhow, I spoke with Dave (the head dude at systemlogic.net), and mentioned the idea of creating an RC5/OGR/Distributed.net-whatever team as a subteam under Team AnandTech.

The idea is simple. Some form of advertising for TeamAnandtech, in exchange for some advertising in somw way for Systemlogic. Systemlogic, while obviously not one of the largest sites out there, is a quality site (plus I write for 'em, so you'd better at least show tokenrepsect ), and is one where everyone is working hard to make it a better site. Obvoiusly, though its not a "new", it is still smaller than the hugenames like Sharky, Threshes, THWG, and of course, the host of our beloved forums, AnandTech. We're trying to grow.

He just had to buy a new server, so he's eaten that cost himself. He's looking to make Systemlogic grow now only because its fun and amazing to watch, but because he just lost a wad of cash on it....So to everyone, I ask for your opinion on having some sort of affiliation between SystemLogic and Team Anandtech.....

hmm. so your suggesting a MiniTeam for System Logic.com?

Well, to satisfy our part of the bargain wed have to match advertising, i suggest the miniteam page for them be decked out in links and info on Systemlogic.com, and we all put links to them in our sigs. I'll do it, i know it will increase the hits in his logs from forums.anandtech.com, and he will notice that, and hopefully will match us click for click.

I see no reason why a systemlogic.net miniteam couldn't be started up. Make a banner that shows up on the DNET stats page with a link to the site. If the miniteam does well, the stats'll get clicked more.

Also, every 100K of blocks, Ray will list the name as a milestone.

Of course, the team will be part of Team Anandtech's team and it will cause members to come here as well.
