Do yourself a favor and find yourself a nice little polish bakery, and get some REAL pączki, not those fake jelly donut posers you see in the grocery store.

My wife is from Poland so she and her family always have polish pastries around. They aren't fatty enough for me (and too "doughy" for my taste), I prefer my Americanized jelly donuts with frosting 😛

Because my mother wanted an extra batch, I helped my step dad make 200+ fasnachts on Saturday. Next year I will actually help with the kneading and mixing the night before as well as the frying.
