I was considering taking this to P&N but decided to stay here.
So anyway, I was watching Shark Tale with my family and it struck me how completely unrealistic the ending was. For those of you who didn't catch it, there were 3 basic storylines. First, there's Will Smith as a butt-ugly fish who lies to everybody and screws over some fish who's infatuated with him. Then there's this shark who is a vegetarian (homosexual?) and gets rejected by all. And finally there's the shark mob, who's head is the dad of the gay shark and has his other (normal) son die, and naturally wants revenge.
So in the end, Smith tells the truth and everybody (including the fish) love him now; the mob boss learns to love his odd son, and also makes some peace pact with all the other fish.
So what do you guys think of this? Is it good for kids to only see these perfect Hollywood endings in the hopes they'll try to realize them when they grow up? Or is completely worthless?
