I definitely know the feeling. But, I will always love my parents. Being an only child I'm pretty close to them.

You could always go to Hometown Buffet. lol Not exactly the 'nicest' of restaurants, (not that it isn't nice, but you know what I mean) but everyone can eat whatever kind of food they want.
