Hitler didn't declare war because he was Christian. If that what causes leaders to go to war there wouldn't be a person standing on this planet. Most leaders of the western world were as Christian as he was and most likely more.
On the other hand China is most definitely persecuting these people because they are religious, and Christian in this case. The record for murder goes to Mao and his successors.

Forget the Chinese government, Western Christians have abused Chinese Christians in that oh so wonderful Christian tradition. Christians have always been a tiny abused minority in China and it wasn't until missionaries started claiming that the technological progress of the west was due to Christianity that there was any real interest in the religion. The irony of missionaries having to stoop so low as to claim scientific achievements in order to bolster their image is almost too much.
There's a classic story told about the early Christian missionaries in China. One day a missionary found one of his best converts leaving a Buddhist temple and asked him what he was doing there if he had converted to Christianity. The man said, "Oh! On Sundays I'm a Christian and on Tuesday's I'm a Buddhist and on Thursdays I'm a Taoist!" These are not the all-or-nothing-my-way-or-the-highway religious types Westerners are so familiar with and, hence, the resistance to Christianity. It isn't merely that the Chinese government is against religion, they are against fundamentalism in particular. It just doesn't fit in with their cultural traditions much less Maoist ideology.

I'm not defending "corporate drones," I'm saying that ignoring those millions (many of whom have died due to poor living conditions) merely because their "relocation" happened 10 or 20 years ago is hardly a stand for righteous indignation.

We have a good gig going over here on the north american continent.
We have been in a lot worse situations and been almost the last free place on earth. (1940 for example)
