Indeed

Happy Walking Dead Day

And The Walking Dead is on tonight. It's too bad that Christians will be watching it without being able to really appreciate the irony.

There's nothing in the lore to indicate Jesus was a Zombie. He was intelligent, retained his powers, and didn't act in any way we classify zombies. It's very obvious that Jesus cast a high level contingency resurrection spell, nothing at all to do with reanimation.

It always amazes me that a Tech-Forum full of people manage to screw this up every year. Probably because saying "zombie Jesus" sounds edgier.

Sorry, I refuse to accept that it was a spell without knowing the level of the priest who cast it and calculating the saving throw. This is a tech forum, we have knowledge of this stuff and we demand strict adherence to whichever rule set is being used.

I'm going traditional.

Eaten chocolate eggs and bunnies all day. Drinking beer all afternoon and having Chinese take out for tea.

"We don't know what rule set he was playing, so I'm going to call him a toaster". That has about as much validity as what you're applying. Maybe it was a skill, spell, or a unique item, but he wasn't a zombie.

It's not just Jesus as Zombie though. All you're saying is that he was a smart Zombie, dude was dead then reanimated... :colbert:

"Irony" doesn't mean what you think it does.

Irony means exactly what I think it means. If a zombie daddy in the sky wanted you to know too, he would have made it so.

"We don't know what rule set he was playing, so I'm going to call him a toaster". That has about as much validity as what you're applying. Maybe it was a skill, spell, or a unique item, but he wasn't a zombie.

If you're using random rules you can use a random Monster Manual where zombies are sentient. There's a precedent for that, George Romero himself has used zombies that can communicate, learn, use tools and form friendships with humans.
