So, my birthday is today april 22, and it is also earth day.

I'm going to keep my computer on overnight. There's an Ice Age coming, and we all need to do our part to prevent it from destroying our civilization.
 
I could have sworn earth day was 4/20, because I always joked about "going green". I've been doing a cleanup and contributing to the landfill. I actually put more in the recycling dumpsters then in the landfill though, I do my best. 😉
 
I may use this day to do some trash collecting around my yard, one of the ways to keep the grass neat and contribute to the environment.
 
i did a beach clean up with my girlfriend who is involved with Save Our Shores the other day and overall they found 30+ syringes, diapers, a computer moniter and even a fridge dumped into a stream that ran into the ocean. YAY FOR NATURE. Earth day is depressing...
 
Interesting that International Hippie Day falls two days after 4/20. Why can't they just combine the two events into one unrecognized holiday and quit pretending like there's an ounce of separation between the two? :disgust:
