A happy Thanksgiving Day long weekend to everyone!

2 days off and I am doing as little as possible. I did a small Thanksgiving dinner for myself with some steamed cabbage, hot Italian sausages, cranberry sauce and some nice orange juice! LOL

Tomorrow I go over to the GF's place and have some homemade back ribs and a bunch of fix-ins.

nothing like relaxing on a long weekend!

:grinning: :beermug:

I really don't get why we haven't synced up with the U.S. of A. yet. Guess we can buy our turkeys and shit cheaper?

our harvests are earlier up here plus our Thanksgiving has no relation to the USA one.

Gobble gobble! Had a good turkey dinner today with family.

This. Ours makes more sense, by the time theirs is coming it's time to put the Christmas tree up and stuff. :p

Traditionally here, all of the X-mas decor goes up Thanksgiving day or the day after. I do it the day after.

Thank you Canada for:

Maple syrup
The usage of: eh, a, aye
All dressed chips
Canadian bacon (even though American bacon is superior)
And modern hockey

I am not thankful for your use metric system.

We had my godmother and her husband over for thanksgiving. My godmother is gluten intolerant, so I made the entire meal gluten free, except for a batch of stuffing I made for the three of us normal eaters. It actually turned out really well, even dessert! Happy belated turkey day all!
