Oh yes it's the best thing ever. There's a place in town that sells Pizza poutine as well. Best thing ever! There's also another place in town that sells bacon poutine. This has as much bacon in it than it has fries. It's awesome.

There's also a place that sells pulled pork poutine, that's new. I so have to try that. D:

Not getting the "celebrate war of 1812" PR campaign going on by media outlets and guberment... Great, "we" won one stupid pointless war, stopped those dirty Americans from taking over our country. Yippy ki yay?

It's funny: Canadians think of the War of 1812 as a major event, as a time they beat the Americans and all that.

Americans vaguely remember the War of 1812 as a time we sort of beat the British -- if not a full win, we at least got them to stop harassing us -- and we don't think of it as involving Canada at all.

The British don't remember the War of 1812 whatsoever.
