I've decided to drive up to Toronto tomorrow and watch Canada Day fireworks...something my Canadian soul has been longing for! I remember when the Benson & Hedges Symphony of Fire first started back in Toronto, and how we used to take the ferry to Center Island to watch the fireworks competition every night. I miss those days so I'm driving up tomorrow. Where is the best place to catch the fireworks besides the island (I'll be too late for ferry methinks?) Anything along Lakeshore Drive? Any ATOTers out there tomorrow nite?

I remember one year on Canada's Day when I was stuck in terrible traffic trying to get down to the lakefront before the fireworks over the lake started. No chance in hell of doing it in time - so spontaneously, most everyone shut off their engines and climbed out of their cars to watch right there on the road. It was pretty cool.

Point being, anywhere downtownish should be fine. 😛
 
I'm only 2.5 hours away and I'm leaving Rachacha at 5pm (when friend gets off work to join me) so I think I should be there in time...don't expect it to start before 9pm.
