At this point I doubt that's their main focus. Ironically they could kill two birds with one stone by getting some decent forum software.

Kinda get the point across - eh?

It' NOT enterprise-level software, quite possibly the worst coding I;ve ever seen, and the admins general lack of maintenance and drive to supports the site is disappointing too.

I hope their drive improves, I hear stirrings they might be evaluating a different software package.

BUT - no matter how good the software, it's only as good as it's admins, and from the shenanians that have gone on recently, Anand may want to find a new Forum Admin.

Personally, I like fusetalk's layout much better than any other forum, it's just slower and the search sux.

you've been here long enough (on the UBB as well i assume) to realize this is Zuni's test site, and it was built around suggestions from the members circa 1999. it's probably not going away.

however, they did eventually replace UBB when it was one crash after another.
 
Fusetalk is the only one I am aware of that has a "my forums" section.

Personally I like vBulletin but I don't have any problem with fusetalk other than the aweful search. But I've noticed the search function on many forums is pretty bad as well...

*EDIT* apparently I'm not a victim of this random issue going around... yet! I may change my password just in case though...

Well, based on the number of locked and deleted posts just today, and the number of bans over the past few days, I'd say you're toast.
