If the Dreamcast were still alive and well today, I would have gotten it instead of my PS2. Boy, that console was a blast with me and my friends with games like Soul Calibur and Power Stone - stuff that I can't find on the PS2 right now.

Here's to the Dreamcast! *drinks a cup of Coke*

I still have my Dreamcast hooked up for those moments when the soul starts burning. Plus it's hard to beat Bangai-o for mindless explosive arcade action.

I remember back in Nov 99 at a family reunion my dreamcast provided hours of fun for us... mainly Ready 2 Rumble. Even my grandfather played that one! :Q
I think he liked the jiggly girls. ;)

Hehe I picked mine up last month, 30 shipped to my door. Games are hard to find though so its a good thing that most of my friends have burned games that I can copy and play.

Not to thread crap, because I love my Dreamcast too, but if I am not mistaken this is the 7th anniversary of the original Playstation's launch as well. 9-9-95.

Bump for two great consoles. :D

Sony marketing and poor Sega marketing. Also, bad timing.

I still play my DC regularly....still a lot of games I haven't finished or even unsealed! hehehe

Dreamcast rules. The games everyone listed are good. Crazy taxi I love. Arcade mode, arcade rules my high score is in the mid 40 thousands. I finally went next generation console with the gamecube. Thanks to hotdeals here.

DC, the best system EVAR(tm).

I have three of these puppies, two US and one Japanese. PS2 hype killed the machine before it got the chance to run. Soul Calibur, every kind of Street Fighter, Ikaruga, both Sonic games, the Sega Sports series, and Skies of Arcadia are still played by me daily. God bless the white machine that could...

Guantlet Legends and Crazy Taxi were the BEST party games (I still play them---Guantlet was a blast with four people). I bought the Mad Catz FF wheel just for Test Drive V-Rally (probably one of the best racing games ever made). People's jaws STILL drop when they see the great graphics and gameplay.

If everyone loves the DC so much, then why can't I find someone to buy mine? :D

I love it, but it is time to move on (for me, at least).

I broke out Soul Calibur this weeking. It still kicks the crap out of Tekken Team Tourney 10x over.

Not to further the threadcrapping, but this marks the day of SNES' 11 year anniversary. Super Nintendo rox!

dreamcast is an awesome console. Got 2 of them. 1 currently in use and the other is brand new unopened, a backup, should the first one fail
