Since as of late everyone and their Mother has decided Cruise is a crazy, cult-following hack, I'm posting this to say happy birthday to him and thanks for so many movies I liked or found interesting. In case you haven't noticed in recent threads I'm a big defender of his acting and choose to ignore his religious views. In reality I'm sure he's a good guy who's just trying to live his life under constant watch of the paparazzi, so obviously everything he does it just eaten up and digested for us to read about and it sickens me sometimes. So here's to you Tom, War of the Worlds proved you can still pull it off after 40 years, keep it up.
