I love the irony that hippies picked 4/20 as their celebration day for pot. Great way to celebrate Adolph Hitler's birthday.

but I guess that since the DHS says white extremism is on the rise in the US more people will be celbrating 4/20.
 
that was a funny youtube. i need to stop smoking and start working out again. i feel so weak and lazy whenever i come down.

i wish i knew a dealer in nyc/brooklyn 🙁 i've been dry for months! PM me if you know a source? Ha, I'm not a cop and would only buy like a $50 worth, which is decriminalized in nyc.

yeah that was a little out of left field. either a dumbass or a fakepost i guess. seeing as how marcus aurelius and luther vandross were also born today, and we know they was all about the green. simply because people are celebrating on a given day doesn't mean they are celebrating only the people and events associated with your limited understanding of history that occurred on that day.

It has nothing to do with the date, and everything to do with the time 4:20pm

It's both more and less than people make it out to be. '420' began its sub-rosa linguistic career in 1971 as a bit of slang casually used by a group of high school kids at San Rafael High School in California. '420' (always pronounced "four-twenty," never "four hundred and twenty") came to be an accepted part of the argot within that group of about a dozen pot smokers, beginning as a reminder of the time they planned to meet to light up, 4:20 p.m. Keep in mind this wasn't a general call to all dope smokers everywhere to toke up at twenty past four every day; it was twelve kids who'd made a date to meet near a certain statue. It's thus incorrect to deem that '420' originated as a national or international dope-smoking time, even though the term began as a reference to a particular time of day.

Move to CA, get a medical card and buy your weed from a store like normal people do. Drug dealers are the worst people ever.

Move to CA, get a medical card and buy your weed from a store like normal people do. Drug dealers are the worst people ever.

Which is what I do. Santa Barbara is one of the leading cities in the country in terms of pot availability and number of dispensaries. I got my card after an accident I was in 3 years ago. I'm not a fan of drinking, I'd much prefer to smoke/eat and go downtown and let my friends spend as much on 5-7 drinks as I did on an 8th that'll last me 6 weeks of daily smoking. 🙂

ive smoked a few times....but it doesnt usually do much for me. i had some on my birthday recently,and after maybe...20 or 30 minutes it hit me a little. my brother acted like it was the best thing in the world, anid ive met people who within minutes of smoking claim theyre soooo stoned. go figure.

The first 3 times I smoked I got nothing. Looking back I smoked a pretty healthy amount that by all rights should have done the trick each time. The 4th time - from the same bag, mind you - I got fried. Some people I've talked to report a similar experience. Maybe it has to build up in the body or something.

I have a pretty low tolerance and i don't like to get totally baked, just high enough to relax and put me in a mellow mood. I usually smoke just before bed to help fall asleep quicker.

When i smoke recreationally, i smoke a bit more. Add to all this the fact that I typically use a vaporizer, it doesn't take much to get me where I like to be. 🙂
