Well, what can I say other than the fact that you guys bring a tear to my eye.:Q
As most of you should know, we were founded on Dec. 26, 1998; meaning we've just completed our second year of existance.😀 This year, as in the year past, will be one for the record books. While Team Anandtech has faced many adversaries, both internal and external, and lost friend and foe alike; we're ending this year on a high note.🙂 TA is now #1 in the world with the first place spots in OGR-24, OGR-25, and of course, RC5.😀 We've managed to launch teamanandtech.com, thegamebox.net(in conjunction with SysOpt), and even raised some cash for some good causes.
However, we still face several big challenges in the comming year. We have the DPCs quickly gaining in RC5,🙁 Slashdot still too close to us in OGR, and several other races throughout SETI and GF. If year 1 was the creation, and year 2 was the year of dominance, then year 3, probably our hardest year ever, will be the year of maintainence.😱
This is TA however, so achieving that maintainence is definately possible.🙂 In the comming year, I hope to see everyone helping the team grow in power, members, and still most importantly, in it's sense of community.🙂 Happy 2nd Birthday Team Anandtech!😀
