Getting out of a nice hot shower, peeking in on your wife and baby boy to see if they are awake, seeing his little eyes and forehead pop out from under the covers, and then (as he recognizes his father) seeing him bolt upright with a HUGE smile on his face as he points and yells "dada...DA DA DAAAADAAAAA" enthusiastically!

I just can't express in words how that makes me feel!!!

Yeah, sometimes they are still both asleep and I try to be as "stealthy" as possible as I get ready for work. This morning he was wide awake after I got out of the shower for some reason.

i love that...my daughter is 5....getting that 1st smile in the morning is so wonderful!! and on the weekends when she comes and jumps in bed to snuggle....wow....what a feeling =)

Why is it that whenever a nice thread is posted and everyone is agreeing with the originator
or sharing their similar stories someone has to come along and feel that its necessary to piss in his cheerios.
