First of all, he ruins any points he is trying to make by yelling and calling names. If any of his points are valid, he's destroying them with his conduct.

Secondly, he isn't effectively rebutting anything because he is yelling and being overly aggressive, something he learned at O'Reilly's feet.

Finally, the subsequent events, as several posters above have noted, have made Hannity look like he wasn't paying attention for the last year.

Thanks for posting this link. Now I understand, yet again, why I don't watch Fox Spews and Cartoon Network.

I'm starting to believe that wingnuts are like alcoholics or drug addicts.

When an alcoholic ingests alcohol, it sets off an irrational craving beyond their ability to control, a destructive interplay between chemistry and consciousness. He's just pannicing as he knows that things like the economy tanking will cause the voters to concentrate on the issues which is definitely in Obama's favor. If it's about issues then the fact that McCain was a POW and Palin is a Soccer Mommy will be irrelevant to the voters which spells doom for the Republicans.

No instead he's all over Palin giving her softball questions which point the blame at Obama from the get-go.

FOX news is pretty much the most biased news station I have ever seen. It should be looked at with the same credibility level that Comedy Central's shows have, except that Comedy Central's shows are at least somewhat funny.

Hannity: Interest rates and inflation have been lower in the Bush years than they have been in the last 3 decades.

Fact: Wrong on inflation rates and I couldn't find historical interest rate data.

Hannity: You are trying to convince the American people that something is wrong

Fact: The American people are already convinced.

Super pretty please let Hannity keep telling people watching his show that the economy is great by pointing to unemployment and "growth." When the news shows before and after his have 30 minute segments on century old banking institutions failing and government bailouts of the world largest insurance co's, people might start to wonder what prescription he's abusing and where they might score some. "The fundamentals of our economy are strong" and "people are whiners" is already chipping away at Mac's numbers, so by all means, keep preaching fantasy and hopefully just enough people will wake up to make a difference.

I agree that Hannity is a partisan hack but the station that most needs to be abolished is MSNBC. The whole crew over there are major league partisan hacks. Mathews has an orgasm when Obama speaks, Olbermann has BMDS (Bush/McCain Derangement Syndrome), and Maddow is a republican hater with an agenda, (never has a republican on her show ..... or if she does they are morons set up by her). Those shows are so obviously one sided it's embarrassing! I used to watch Mathews Hardball show and considered him somewhat fair until about 6 months ago when he seemed to go off the deep edge, (caused somehow by Olbermann?).
I rarely watch either channel for news anymore ...... hopefully they will go back to mainstream issues after the election ........ I won't hold my breath though.

The Jon Stewart Show and Colbert Report do make fun of both sides - seems like more recently. Granted, it's usually the right but maybe it's just because it's so easy the past 8 years.
