I would have to say Dexter in a straight up 1 on 1 battle.

Hannibal only has 1 working arm, though i guess he could add a weapon attachment heh.

Even though Dexter hasn't been caught yet, he makes sloppy mistakes, has left himself open on many occasions, has family to worry about and has an identity to keep intact. He has been lucky because his victims

are usually not very smart and even those victims has made Dexter run in circles to keep his identity. Hannibal on the other hand is a fugitive, has nothing to lose and can outsmart Dexter. Assuming he already know who Dexter is and does, he already has him in check with a huge handicap since Dexters needs his alias as a blood splatter analyst to stay hidden from public view.

Still have to go with Mr. Lecter though. Dude is just 100% creepy all the time, unlike Dexter who seems to have a bit of a soft side to him.

According to the "Intarwebs", Dexter killed about 70+ people... far more than the 29ish Lecter. Dexter would win IMO, but Lecter is much more outwardly sadistic.

Alright, I've watched the series over and this is what I've gotten.

Dexter killed 11 in Season 1 and 9 in Seasons 2 & 3. (Including flashbacks)

End of Season 1

So Dexter has 70 confirmed kills, although his estimated kill count (EKC) could be as high as 80, give or take. I'm going to guess he didn't start taking slides right away. He studied blood in college so its likely he may have started there. So between his start and that opportunity, and without police aid, I'm estimating 10 kills.

Confirmed kills for his victims is about 117. Estimated kill count could be as high as 400. The Nurse, Coyotes, Brian, Little Chino, and Skinner have 30 combined confirmed kills but have likely killed hundreds more.

It is also possible to assign Dexter multiple assists.

But all in all, by killing 80, Dexter has avenged about 400 kills and prevented many more."
