I have this summer job full time where I need to be pretty attentive...but still, since I am just a college student I want to be able to party at nights and handle the 9-5 the next day...but it seems whenever I drink I just get really tired and feel sorta shitty the next day. This isnt if I get really wasted or anything, it pretty much happens whenever I drink. Any tips on keeping up this schedule and still partying at nights?

Thanks.....

sirpado, make sure after a night of drinking that you eat something before you go to bed that way you won't feel crappy the next day, works for me :)

Yes, drinking a lot of water will do wonders.

Even better, though, is sobering up before you go to sleep. Every time I do that, I actually wake up earlier than normal in the morning (like 8am!), and I feel just fine. It's really strange. And don't forget to drink lots of water, or Gatorade if you're drinking lots of the harder stuff.

Well I quit drinking because I would get home and just get comfortable and get to sleep and the dam toilet seat would fall on my head, I think that is what causes the headaches.

Then you're not drinking enough!!! :D

Superbowl Sunday:

14 Beers, 2 shots of Bacardi Rum, 4 Shots of Vodka.

In the morning, went jogging.

Oh, and no water either.

This has happened several times. The only time I ever felt bad was when I puked a bunch (which I will never be so stupid as to do again), but that was because I had been puking the night before so my stomach felt bad (otherwise I was fine).

No, I don't get hangovers :D

Just finished a drug education course and they indicate that if you drink to "drunk" you got a drinking problem and need rehab.

I drank heavily while I was in Vegas. I never got hung over. Then again, I was drunk for 72 hours straight.

Eat before you drink, don't mix too many alcohols, and before you go to bed drink 3 glasses of water along with two aspirin. Take a glass of water to bed with you and kepp a bottle of water handy with you while you're at work if possible. Hydration is the key.

Hydration is the key.
But only BEFORE you go to bed.
If you really want to get serious, get an Oxygen bottle and breath off of it for about 20 min.
Doing both is the best.

That's why I don't get hangovers ;)

As everyone said, some water before bed is good. Also it seems what you drink plays a big role as well. As a general rule, better quality drinks seem to not give as bad hangovers. For example Bass Ale is probably going to be better than Milwaukee's Best. Stoli Vodka better than Popov. Sugary girlie drinks will get you in trouble too.

What works for me when I decide to tip a few is a 16 oz glass of orange juice and a BC powder in the morning.
