What kind of hangers are $280 for 60?

If the plastic ones are good enough, just go to Target. Even Walmart or Big Lots will have them, and pretty inexpensively.

If you want the wood ones, how about something like these?. Add a coupon and you get 60 for $20 something.

Well I need new hangers to make more room in my closet. The ones that I was looking at are the ultra slim hangers that gives you 3 times the closet space.

Own less clothing.

EDIT: Plus, your clothes aren't going to magically get thinner because of these hangers, so I fail to see the point in slim hangers.

I have GOT to start that online school for life skills I've been thinking about. Anyone who would even consider spending $280 on hangars wheather they have the money or not, won't mind paying me $20 bucks for 'inside' info on how to buy dress shirts for less than $100 dollars, where to find designer shades for less than $250 and, how to get their clothes cleaned and pressed for less than dry cleaners charge.

Better yet send me $20 and I promise not to point and laugh at you on the street.

I know but they really do help. I have a friend who uses them.

I got about 200 of them from Old Navy a few months back for FREE. I was at the checkout line and they had two clear trash bags full of clothes hangers. I asked the cashier if I could have some, and he asked his manager in his little earpiece thing and she must have told him yes. He gave me one of the bags and I was like WHOAH, thanks. Then he asked if I wanted the second bag too, to which replied "Uhh, OK" 😀

I don't have to worry about hangers again...EVAR

And these are those nice, thick plastic ones. I don't have to worry about hangers again...EVAR

I know the ones your talking about exactly. Though its a pain in the butt trying to go hunt for free hanger. Most places are not going to be getting rid of their hangers. I mean why would they ?

I think the clothing they get that you see on hangers comes to them on them. Unless they want to stock up on them and send them back, I don't see much of a point in keeping them.

Yes but the $280 for 60 hangers wasn't for those. It was for some other kind. I just put that in the topic to catch anandtech users eyes. 😀 It really did add up to $280. When I saw that I was like there is no way I am paying well over $200 just for hangers!

What do you think is a reasonable amount to pay for 75 hangers ?

No, I need specs.

Thin? Plastic? Wire? Piano wire? Dental floss?

Apparently we need dimensions, because you don't want thick ones, but thin ones aren't good enough.

Those have already been suggested multiple times.
