Hang a toddler, 10 years probation. Wat?

On a different note:

Prosecutor Christina Warren pushed for prison time. Warren raised doubts that Karia could be properly supervised outside of prison and receive the care she needs to restore her mental health.

I wonder if she was able to say that she would get the proper mental health care in prison, much less any mental health care, with a straight face? Mental health care in prisons for the people that need it the absolute most is usually lengthy solitary confinement which has been proven beyond any doubt to make those mental health problems worse and to cause new ones in people that originally didn't have any.

Not technically true. The right to care is affirmed by the Supreme Court, but in practice it can be laughable. Still, all jails/prisons have some mechanism to provide mental health evaluation and treatment.

Wow. So the only reason that toddler is alive is because a father just happened to drop by at the right time.

So... hang a toddler (and only by random luck not kill him) speed off in your car and hit several people... get an insane judge... skip off with 10 years probation.

(Amazing the winning argument was "it'll never happen again" when the immediate action was running over a couple people!)

Why the hell not 10 years in an asylum, if not prison?

I can't imagine the anguish and suffering the kid and family are going through, and probably will for years. And the person who caused it basically walks. That's a complete kick in the teeth for victim and family from the so-called justice system.

jstoodge STFU.

You are litterally the single most useless piece of shit on this forum. I dont condone violence but there's a collosal beatdown in your pathetic future by someone you run your brainless mouth off to one time too many. And it will be richly deserved.

Enjoy it when the time comes.
