handgun enthusiasts: what's brand/caliber/grain weight ammunition are you using?

just curious, since i know we have a lot of shooters out there...

i'm putting Cor-Bon 135gr .40 S&W's through my Sig Sauer 229.... one of the smoothest and most well rounded handgun/ammunition pairings out there, IMHO...

Hmmm... Cor-Bon doesn't make a +P loading of the .50, wonder why? 😉

hehehheee, yeah we could call it a grenade launcher.

i like the MP5A4 with a 30 9mm+p load 2 clips up and down

also the glock 40 with +p glasers and federal hollows

M-16a2 with a 8 twist barrel and original sights, no scope 300yards head shots

you're allowed to use frangibles in your duty piece? (i'm assuming that's what you're using the Glock for). I like the Federal stuff, we were using Federal match-grade in our M21's. I have to say though, that this former gun bunny likes the M4 a helluva lot better than the M16A2....

Cheapest I can find (for target practice, of course).

Main ammo I'm acquiring is Yugoslav 1952 7.92mm military rounds for my Mauser. A friend just found 1954 rounds which shoot a little bit better -- 2-3in groupings at 100 yards with iron sights and a crude rifle rest; consistent hits on a 2ft target at 200 yards, again with iron sights.

For my 9mm, I bought a "value pack" of Winchester rounds. Now I know why they are a "value pack" -- they smoke more than a muzzle loader! But, $10 for 100 rounds for use on the range is just fine with me.
