Have you looked at a Springfield XD? I have heard nothing but good about them.

This, the XD-9 is an outstanding gun.

Check out nutnfancy on Youtube. He does a lot of gun and gear reviews. I know that particular Sig isn't reviewed but he has an excellent long P226 review. I'm pretty sure there is a M&P9 review.

He has done the Glock 17, XD 9mm, USP Compact, P226, Beretta 92F, Ruger SR9, heck even more too.

He also reviewed the FNP9. That looks like a very nice gun for the price. Too bad I can't own shit in NY state.
