I thought it was pretty good but I think when we find out that Mary is the same as Hancock, the movie took a bit of a down turn.

I don't get the whole immortals thing though. they were made in pairs so that they could get together and become mortal and live normal lives, but Hancock and Mary are the last 2 alive.
But yet they are there as like God's security force or whatever.

but if they are the last 2, they either become immortal and die which defeats the God's security force deal, or they stay immortal and never get to live normal lives, which defeats the purpose of being born in pairs and being able to get the chance to live normal lives.

Is this based off a comic or anything? Is there more of a back story to Hancock?

yeah, i mean, the part about the one armed guy getting revenge in the end was just like they threw it in there because they figured he had to have an "arch enemy" of some kind. And he was going to go after Hancock before he even knew he could be hurt. wtf was he planning to do had that not happened?

yup.. I was really liking the before before that part. Fortunately when that part hit, I hit the stage of being nearly double vision wasted and forget the rest of the movie. So Hancock :thumbsup: in my book.

The guy put holes in the ceiling of his trailer. He needs to be more human, so he can reproduce (with other female like him, who is also human at that time).

I thought it was a good movie, in contrast to the typical tripe, and that the unrated version was better, because it had content.

It sure did jump the shark. Having her be another superbitch and the whole one-armed guy seeking revenge was just dumb. It was fairly decent up until then. Still, it wasn't great.

I had no problem with sharks. Sure there was a shift, but it was a key part of the overall story, and not just a gimmick.

I enjoyed it for what it was. It always cracks me up when people go to see movies like Hancock and then come away complaining about the plot and shit. Its a fuckin action movie. :roll:

I saw it in the theaters - I had an inkling they had some sort of a history (which would mean she's damn old if not superpowered) from the minute they met, I thought that was fairly obvious.

I thought it was a good movie.

and again, would mary have to either sit in the other room or join in on a 3some for it to work, because he doesn't become mortal unless she is like right next to him and as soon as he leaves her, they get their powers back.
