Hammer Game

Got to level 9 with 9900 points. The problem is that I need to know what the items in the store do. You will need a better hammer to pass 9, but what can the 3 different hammers do, and what do the wings do?

I know the with silver hammer you can kill the red guys in one hit. You'll need this to pass level 9, very hard otherwise. The wings make your hammer faster... that's the first upgrade I get (only 80 coins I think). I've gotten to level 9 twice but keep dying, only played the game 5 times so far because it takes a while to get past the first 5 levels.
 
Got to level 11 . . . but it's the same as level 10 (maybe faster?). But no new enemies. I guess the blue bomb heads are the last ones.

I think the best way is to first save up for the gold hammer (300) and then buy wings. Gold hammer is essential to kill every enemy with just one hit. Is the laser gun always "Sold Out"? Wonder what it does . . .

Does the gold hammer allow you to strike the enemies such as the ball/chain guys when they are spinning it? Because I know with at least the silver hammer you're able to string the ball/chain things (not the guys spinning them, the ones just lying there) and they'll give you a heart. I suspect with the gold you can strike the bombs as well.
 
I have danced with the devil and won.... I got to level 14 before a slip in concentration cost me dearly.

Nothing new happens after level 10.. it just gets faster. Oh well
 
i can't figure out level 7...no matter what I do I lose health everytime I hit something!

The guys with the spikyballchain things, should I simply avoid hitting them at all costs, even if they're not spinning the ball or something? And I lose points for things that previously didn't make me lose points... Like hitting the yellow guys with their eyes closed, nearly drains a full heart!

Uhh... you must be doing something else wrong. You know you lose health when you don't kill a guy at all... after he sinks back down. The guys with the chain you can only hit when they are not spinning it.

Here's a hint... once you get 200 coins, but the silver hammer. Then you can hit the spike balls (the ones laying on the ground) and they will give you a heart.

wow... bow down, I can only get to level 11.
With the gold hammer you can hit the guys without an eye (the ones that take coins away) and they'll give 2 coins. I suspect the hammers go like this:

1st hammer (bronze?) - kill red guys 1 hit
2nd hammer, silver hammer - kill ball & chains on ground which give hearts (not the guys who spin ball and chains)
3rd hammer - gold hammer - all of the power ups before plus able to hit guys who take your coins away for 2 coins. I'm not sure what else you can do with it.
wings - faster hammer
gun - always sold out, tease?
 
My friend got to level 12... he's got a screenshot; will pics.bbzzdd it later. Still couldn't buy the laser gun, apparently.
