Should I buy the DTS version of "The Haunting" off ebay?

I haven't seen it.

Do you think the bass effects offset the horrible rating at imdb and rotten tomatoes the movie has?

YES. It's a pretty good movie yoyo...and of course DTS is better than no DTS.

EDIT: Oh wait nevermind...rent it. Was thinking of something else.

But if I rent it, it's probably not going to be the DTS version which supposedly is the one with the good bass track

Well if you want to spend money on something with good Bass, try some Tony Levin before buying this movie.

Now here is a question for you ODiN. Were you slain by Gilgamesh with the excalibur or the masamune?

The 4 items have nothing to do with each other save that the excalibur and masamune are both mythilogical swords in one respect.

Gilgamesh is Babylonian (Or Mesopotamian) Myth, also reportedly the fifth king of Uruk in Sumeria.

Excalibur is the mythical sword of Arthur (also Caledfwlch). Forged in Avalon, also sometimes said to have been the "Sword in the Stone".

Masamune was sometimes seen as a mythological sword, but also the name of a Japanese swordsmith of great skill. There is some legend/myth in that as well.

Odin (also Woden) was the Norse god of war, wisdom, poetry, war and was the highest of Norse gods and keeper of Valhalla. He sacrificed an eye for ultimate knowledge and also hung himself, pierced by his own spear from the tree called Yggdrasill to acquire knowledge.

He has a spear named Gungnir and rode an eight legged horse named Sleipnir. Ultimately he met his demise at the hand of Loki's child Fenrir (a giant wolf) during Ragnarok.

BTW...you're definitely not in any position to help anyone with girl problems. I'd edit your post title before you embarrass yourself.
