IhateViruses has to be deep in denial to assert, "I basically demolished your entire Pallywood victimhood crap and you *lol* ignore it wholesale."
No god damn it idiot, the Palestinian people have been victimized also and its impossible to deny it.
Victimized? They were subordinates of Egypt and and Jordan before Israel took over. And they didn't get there because they were "victimized", they lost a war they started and were driven out by the winning side. So far, sounds to me like an even more humane story than the norm.
Why should a Palestinian life be vastly inferior to an Israeli life?
When you ask for 1000 of your men to be freed for one Israeli soldier, or when you strap bombs to kids and send them to explode... Hey, why go far? Arafat took the proverbial shit over the Palestinian people, by stealing BILLIONS from them, then sending his family to live in Paris. Goes to show what regard he held...
After all both have been poorly led. The fact is and remains, a just Israeli state cannot be built on the Nazi like theft and repression of another Semitic race.
The land is Israeli now, you better come to terms with that. The land in question was taken from JORDAN and EGYPT, not from your imaginary "Palestinian" country that never was.
We can do better, much better, by deciding that an apartheid Israeli State violates all common sense. And if Israelis and Palestinians would co operate instead of fight on the basis of coequal rights , we could have peace in the middle east. Sadly on the latter point, Israel remains committed to denying basic human rights to the Palestinians.
So because both sides can not reach a settlement via negotiation, you will coerce the strong side to give the weak side everything he wants, and then believe it will bring peace?
I don't think Israel will ever be under real political pressure like you're describing, and there are many reasons to that:
1. There are many mutual interests between the US and Israel, mostly in the technological sector. I'm sure Intel wouldn't be happy to hear they can not have their R&D centers and fabs, neither will Google, IBM, Yahoo, EMC, Freescale.. you name it.
2. Israel, unlike SA, has alot to offer in terms of technology, science and military equipment. Israel would always have someone to do business with.
3. Europeans are getting more and more intolerant to Arab antics. In 10 years the European government will be predominately right wing, just see the trend now - Markel, Berloscuni, UK elections coming up and the labor are getting the boot, etc etc. These guys will not turn their back on Israel just to appease the Muslims.
4. The world has lost patience to the Palestinians, It's coming off the headlines, compared with 10 years ago. They used to be looked at as victims, Hamas changed that, and slowly they are linked to AQ, Hizballah and Iran. That doesn't help them much.
5. The US political system will never ever allow this thing to happen. Just look at the overwhelming support Israel enjoys in the Congress.
6. Iran drives many moderate Arab countries closer to Israel. Israel already has informal relations with many Arab countries - look how little condemnation came after the Israeli operation in Lebanon.
So I wouldn't worry about Israel. It will go on for 30 more years, Israel will only get stronger and the Palestinians will keep trying to drive it out of the region.
