It could be like the z-640 subwoofer. The screws for that are behind the speaker grille, which not only snaps in place, but is also glued down for good measure. It needs to be pried away (which will very likely cause damage) to reveal the screws.Originally posted by: biggestmuff

Why not try and turn the sub over, so the ball can roll back out of the port, or is the port baffled, and not straight thru?
