Halp! How in the world do I get cheap internets in New Zealand??

Add a data plan to your cellphone. Tether that to your laptop. At least you can check email.

Just get a USB modem from Telecom or Vodafone on prepay, and enjoy your holiday rather then sitting on the internet all the time.

Or use internet cafes, there is always an abundance of those.

And I don't know why everyone is saying the internet is slow and exepensive in NZ. When I lived there we had unlimited DSL from Telecom for $59 and not under a contract either. Maybe they've changed the pricing structure? Who knows, that was 5 years ago.

hahaha. I do intend to enjoy my time there :p. I still have to do some work and stuff as well; but I suppose I can write those off as business expenses.

I'll look for those internet cafe's. I don't intend to use the internet all the time.. I just need it maybe for an hour or so a day.

hahaha i hope so. I am scheduled to head back out again sometime in mid-june...I can only hope that the finals will be done right before I leave *crosses fingers*

If you don't find a solution before you arrive,, do the $20 trick at the front desk.

And if that doesn't work, pay it. just download all your pr0n before you get there, so you won't be breezing through 100 mb.
