Not a chance, if anything you'll see it at least 2 full years later. If you want Halo (or Gears of War for that matter) before 2009 or so, buy a 360.
 
I dunno... I think MS might push Halo 3 PC up a bit because it will be DX10 only, and since Halo is so fvckin huge it could get people to jump on buying Vista. By December 2007 I don't think Vista will have made that much on a dent in anything besides new pc's that'll come with it pre-installed.

Halo 3 will be a killer app that would have some people shelling out bucks for Vista, it's a win/win situation for MS. I believe the Xbox360 version will have a good jump on the PC one, but the PC one won't be 2 years, maybe 9 months...
 
I'm a huge Halo fan. 🙂 I secured my copy of the Legendary edition on Wednesday at a local retailer.

...now to buy a Xbox 360 sometime...
