Halo 3 ending?

Interesting, I've yet to beat it on Legendary to find out what's different. I'll probably to Legendary Coop style.

I think that the arbitor will go and find him. Hes the only one thats going back into space the rest want to stay and rebuild so I think he has more of a chance to find MC

Just beat the game myself, and I am glad I knew about the clip after the credits. I was completely disappointed when the credits started to roll, and only figured that whatever was waiting at the end of the credit roll would only be a few seconds long. Luckily, it definitely added closure for me. It really should've been tacked onto the end of the "first" ending....this was a pretty important part of the ending of the game, and they force people to sit through the credits just to get the entire story. They might as well put a 30 second ad between each level while they were at it, since they were being shady. Nobody cares about the names of people who made the game.

They did a good job of wrapping up this storyline, but allowing for the series to continue (which it almost certainly will). I'd bet MS will let Bungie do another game before any other Halo projects though.

There is a lot of speculation that the Master Cheif is the same protaganist from the game Marathon, a game they made earlier.

Marathon takes place on the UESC Marathon, a ship coverted from Deimos, one of Mar's moons. It's entirely possible that what you witness at the end of Halo 3 after beating it on Legendary is the master chief landing on Marathon.

beat it on legendary and got an alternate ending... also got the IWHBYD skull. Someone posted a video and i tried t and it was legit

I'm sure they don't give a sh!t about the people that play their game either.

my friend and I beat it on Legendary and it was extended to show a planet and light and that was it.
