That's cool. It's just custom games, they don't count towards anything at all, like rankings or stats. I mainly want to have some fun making up new gametypes and stuff.

Just a note to everyone, I'm not sure how many we'll have, and I know that I'll not be able to remember some of the usernames that I've added to my friends list. The room will initially be set so that only my friends can join, but I will change that if needed. If I do not invite you, take the initiative and join up. If you log in late and we are in a match, you can go to my gamertag details and check out the party details to try and gauge how much time we have left (which might be hard to do if we change up score limits and such). If you leave your screen on your friends list, a little arrow will pop up beside my name when the party is joinable, no need to keep refreshing your list.

And just to forewarn, I've got 4 guys who may or may not be playing tonight that I'm friends with locally, and they will take priority if by some odd chance we fill up the room. We can only hold 16 spots. However, I'm hoping it's more like 10 players, because I don't want to play on Sandtrap and Valhalla all night 🙂.

I don't know if this is a feature that has to be enabled or whatever, but I play custom games with a group of guys, and I've been able to join their games in progress before. It just sticks me on a team and I join the game in the middle.

Yeah, I've joined some friends playing a custom lone wolves game while it was in progress....

 
I'm still debating on whether or not I'll be able to do it tonight. Found out today that I have some work to do early tomorrow first thing.

I'm going to try to play but if not we should do this again maybe one night a little bit earlier, or perhaps on the weekend when more people can join up.

This will become a weekly Thursday night thing if it works well. We will also tend to start earlier in the coming weeks, so no worries there. It's just that this week my friends and I were going to start at 11, so I figured I'd invite others to join in.
 
I'm in! Gamertag is yllus. Will pop on in half an hour or so.

If anyone would like to play the campaign in co-op Legendary, I'd totally be up for that too....
 
I'll try man. I had to go talk to the priest about marriage after work, then went to the gym, then just got home. i'll see if I can hop on, hopefully I can.
 
Looks like it'll be closer to 11:15 before I'll be on. The damn wife can't seem to get her ass home because she insists on watching the Office at the same time as I do :roll:.

It was fun, but there was too much zombie. I played three games back to back before I just joined up with some other friends. It was still fun though. 🙂

lol sorry, that was my doing. he gave me leader and i was just trying to find a fun variation! thanks for setting it up blurred. i didn't mean to do sandtrap that long, but it was good overall!

Ya, the infestation game we played on sandtrap was pretty fun, but I'd like to do that again, only this time the person who is the last man standing should get a point. It was fun hopping in the warthog with 2 other guys and trying to keep away, but in the end, there was no incentive to do that, because you had to kill in order to move up the list.

We'll try to set something up again next week (a little bit earlier), and I'll hopefully do a little more homework and already have some match types setup. No shield pistols was pretty fun on Guardian, and I enjoyed the random weapons match on Last Resort.
 
Yeah that was pretty fun last night. Sorry I left without saying anything but I got tired and had to just go to bed right away. The zombie match on sandtrap was fun, but it wasn't quite that much fun on the pit 😛 Partly because I had no clue what was going on.
I don't think I even cared if I won on Sandtrap, I was just having fun driving. It was funny to be riding along, and all of a sudden the gunner would be killed out of nowhere. And it was pretty crazy to be the last man standing and having all the zombies chasing you while riding on a mongoose.
We should try the bungie favorites next time. The Seven seas map and then the pirate game types sound like they could be a lot of fun.

Ah well, I've already sucked down 1 redbull this morning. I may have to go pick up another one. I feel like an actual zombie today 😛

We should definitely work on making this a weekly thing.

oh man I LOVED the team pistols match. It felt good to get some 1-shot headshot kills. 😛
Taking away the shields makes the game much more fast paced.

I had a blast playing Alpha Zombie on Sandtrap, but Mosh Pit on the Pit with swords and Rockets was fun too. If this does become a weekly thing, I'd like to play, but with my wife loving CSI and Grey's, it still won't be until about 12 EST that I could get on. Thanks for setting this up, blurredvision

Haha, pink team. Chris, you were teamed with my buddy from Houston, skyphoxx, for those first couple of matches. He's hilarious to play with, definitely has his own type of personality.

We'll definitely make this a weekly thing, though. We'll get started earlier next week also. The most we had at one point last night was 14, which was on the sandtrap alpha zombie match. It was funny watching a ton of blue arrows across the map all chasing after a lone warthog 😀.
