Halo 3 custom games match - Thursday, 10/18, 11:15pm eastern

A couple of friends and I are trying to get our Thursday night Halo matches together again, and this week I wanted to attempt to get together a few people to play some custom matches. Nothing serious, just a bunch of guys having fun making up new games and stuff.

Thursday night, 11pm eastern will be the time. I figure we can switch the party leader after every round so each person can have their own say in what type of match we play, along with input from the rest of the group, of course 🙂. If you want to show up, I'd hope that you can stick around for 2 or 3 hours to play. I'll play til around 2am if we can get a good group together.

So, purbeast, chris, queasy, blackflag, ragingbitch, iceberg and the rest of you whom I cannot think of off the top of my head, how's about it?

My gamertag is blurredvision06 for those who do not have me on their list, if you are interested in playing. I'll update this thread tomorrow if we can get enough, and we'll be set.

EDIT: Everyone that wants to join, I'd appreciate it if everyone donned their headsets. This is about fun, we can't do that if we have no communication about game types and such 🙂.

damn i haven't even played with you yet in halo 3 at all hah. seems whenever i get on live all my friends on there are doing something else, i've beendoing a lot of lone wolf the past few days, i'm kind of sick of it.

Hehe....no, I'm a night-owl anyways. Throw in the fact that I don't usually get to play any non-kid friendly games until after my kids go to bed results in me playing primarily after 10PM. 🙂

*sigh* it's kind of late since I have to be up at 5:00 am for work but I'll try to play until at least 12:00. I know I'll say 12 now but most likely I'll get caught up in the game and won't get off until 2:00 anyways. We'll see how it goes 😛

I'd love to play but I've got an early meeting on Friday that I would never make if I stayed up past midnight. Future weeks should work out fine for me though.

I'll be getting up at around 6:15 in the morning, so I'll get about 4 hours sleep if I play until 2am. It's a Friday, a couple of Red Bulls will keep me upright until I leave early afternoon. 🙂

We should have a decent turnout, I think. I'll try and get the party started as quickly as possible, I usually watch the Office with my wife off the DVR when she gets home at 10-ish, so I'll hopefully have the game fired up right at 11 at the latest.

Hopefully I'll be able to get in on this. The network I'm on is incredibly high latency at times (I've had pings of 4800), but I'm getting a cable hookup to bypass that. Should be installed by 6 tomorrow so if everything's working I'll jump in.
