Today's paper had an ad for Circuit City Saturday deals. As the topic states, 25% off any game that is 19.99 and less. I was curious if this worked with Halo 2, a 16.99 game (marked down from 29.99) on sale for Black Friday weekend. The customer service rep, busy from the long lines and everything, said it was fine and I walked away with Halo 2 for $12.74 before tax!

Try it at your local Circuit City!

Was the discount automatic or they need to input it at the register? I will go try on those $4.99 games in the ad. Think Half-Life 2 was $4.99.

She had to type it in. I'm thinking they aren't supposed to do this... but it is busy there and you can argue the ad since it says ALL games.

Nice! Thanks OP.... wanted to pick up Shadow of the Colossus for PS2 and now that it's even cheaper it'll be tough not to say yes!
 
Can the coupon be applied after the fact ?

I was at CC late Saturday and found the last copy of halo2 on the shelf (vs. "the box of discounted games") for $16.xx, and also picked up HL2 for $5

Can I walk in with the coupon and my receipt for a PM?
