the only console i have is gamecube, which is my little brother and sister.

PC is the best platform for gaming, thats it.
 
They might. My teacher went to one of those MS partnership meeting things in MI. And she said they were showing clips of Halo 2 running on the new Media Center OS.

Halo was actually a project originally planned for a PC release, right? Some news here and there and it never seemed to come out when it was supposed to, then we found out why - the XBox.

Originally announced way back in 1999 and slated for release on the PC and Macintosh, this first-person shooter became an Xbox exclusive after Microsoft bought the developer, Bungie.

Obviously M$ wants to keep their gem exclusive to their system as long as possible, it was a good 2+ years before Halo found its way to PC, I seriously doubt Halo 2 will be on PC for a long time if ever...

Of course it wont run smoothly with a 9800 pro when your CPU is a pentium 166 mmx.

I ran it with ZERO problems on a softmodded 9500 np @ 1024x768 with no slowdowns, even in heavy fighting on a 3 ghz pentium 4 box.
 
Yes there will be a HALO 2 not on Xbox. they didnt say what system it will be on but if i know microsoft they will release it on windows not another competitor's system.

and for the retards...
Halo was first being made for the MAC... Yes the MAC....
When Microsoft Bought them out they change it to be made for PC...
And last when Xbox was really gona come out they change it...

And the reason why halo one looked so bad for xbox. was that it was soposed to get released in 97 early 98 for PC but was pushed back manny times. I had a beta for it back then and it looked like the Xbox one.
 
heh, Halo 2 is almost too intensive for it's native xbox platform. This game really needs a more powerful platform.

I have it on all three of my systems (a 9800 PRO, 9800 SE, and 9700 PRO)... Runs great.
