On the 360 later this year, I'm guessing close to XMas to maximize 360 console sales.

3 years later, maybe on the PC.

For now, PC users will have to settle for achievement whoring in Halo 2 only.

I'd save my money and just get Lost Planet, which is great game coming sometime this month I believe, and it's DX10.

PC to PC internet play is free. PC to Xbox play will require Live.

So? If console players are dumb enough to buy the device that gives them no choice but to pay for multiplayer, doesn't mean that PC users should pay too. After all, vast majority of PC games provides free multiplayer.

As far as gameplay, I wouldn't be surprised if M$ made PC version with just swords lol Poor console wannabe 'hardcore pwners' would cry if put against mouse+keyboard in an FPS game with everything else being equal. M$ hopes people will buy xbox just to play Halo 2 on equal.
