Halls Cough Drops

My throat is a little sore today from sucking off... I mean the weather changes. A little sniffle and allergy impact (dust from the heating system most likely) woke me up with a rather dry sticky throat that is in need of relief. Thankfully here at work I have a bag of cough drops and a stash of tea.

I bought the cough drops late last year or early this year, can't remember exactly which. Anyhow, the expiration date isn't until next year. I pop one in and suck away, only to find the cough drop turn into an elastic blob of goo. This isn't the first time it has happened, but it only seems to happen when they "age" some. Anyone else notice this? Makes it hard to suck one off when it goes all limp on you.

Never had that happen. How about dropping one in a hot cup of tea?

I was thinking that. The ones I have are some citrus mix though, and some taste particularly funky. Not sure how that would go over in tea.
