Halloween costumes... thinking ahead (what have been your best costumes?)

I was thinking about recruiting one of my girlfriends to be Laura Ling and I could be Euna Lee for Halloween and have my husband dress up as Bill Clinton.

The year before last, I wore a ripped-up Michael Vick jersey and carried around a stuffed dog with pieces of jersey hanging from its mouth. 😛

What do you want to dress up as for Halloween this year? Have you worn any topical costumes in the past and if so what were they?

I'm actually going to be making the costume. I found a few tutorials online how to make the mask and it doesn't seem too difficult. I can sew a little bit so making the actual outfit should be the easiest part 🙂

I'm pretty excited about it. Starting on it in a couple of weeks 😀

my friend and his wife are planning on going as the joker and harley quinn.

I think I might go as a nun if I can find the right costume and wig.
 
Sadly, my best costume was a ghost 🙁 People all made fun of me when I ran into walls because the road cone I used as a hat kept falling down over my eyes 🙁
