If you want to make kids happy Reese's, Snickers, Kit Kats and plain Hershey bars are the way to go. I used to love houses that had three or four different things in a bowl and let the kids choose which one they wanted.

We have Maltesers here now. Unfortunately, they aren't real but an American made bastardized version. To get the good ones, we have to go to middle eastern or Indian markets and purchase black market Maltesers. No lie, the good ones are contraband because of the licensing agreement with the American manufacturer.

Edit: Reading your wiki link, it appears it is the Canadians who are bastardizing the American version, you bastards! Brachs used to make the best malted milk balls but they jumped the shark as well.

I give choice twixt Twinkie or Cupcake. If they say thank you I give both. I don't allow changes late. It amuses me.

I dont eat candy unless I do in which case I eat candy cus maybe its free but im in my 30's and its not really free at that age right? I mean I could try but will I get arrested for trick or treating at over 30 years old ?

Funny. I could have sworn no one liked Heath bars. Boy was I wrong. I went up to the gas station to buy some smokes for 5 lousy minutes and left the bowl of Heath bars on the front step with a note saying, "take two only!" Came back, and yep! You guessed it. Some little piggy loaded his bag.
