From what I remember, Ja Rule helped DMX get a record deal. Ja Rule was already an established rapper, I beleive. I can't stand Ja Rule.

DMX has been around for a long, long time....I'm no expert on rap history, so I'm not saying your wrong, but Rule is more a part of the 'new wave' of rappers.
