Half unconscious man dragged, then almost had arms broken in stress position by cops

The cops drag this man in half unconscious. They bang his head on the door frame, while dragging him. One cop purposefully pushes as hard as he can on the guys arms in a stress position behind his back almost dislocating his shoulder sockets. Then when he comes to and they put him on his feet, he sluggishly says stuff they don't like and one cop elbows the guy in the face repeatedly. All caught on camera.

This is the first time I have seen this btw. But was reading some of the comments. Apparently this happened in 2011. The officers elbowing the man in the face was fired, but then the police union arbitrator had him reinstated and the city sued, I think the officer had appealed of something. But I don't see any link with any updated info.
 
I was looking for an update to this and wanted to find out the outcome of his appeal. Its not good to have these arbitrators putting "bad officers" back on the streets like this. The city wanted him to remain fired. This cop and his buddies probably cost them a ton of money in settlements I bet.

each one of those officers should be fired.

that's actually a really, really good interpretation of how it feels lol...


i've been in some fights in my life.....and had my ass kicked a few times.. i've seen stars.. it's more like flashes of little sparkly white light

Denton was fired in November because his actions violated the Police
Department's policy on use of force, according to the city. However, arbitrator Edward Valverde ruled in June that Denton should be
reinstated, saying that although the officer used unreasonable and
unnecessary force, his actions "did not rise to the level of excessive
force within the meaning of existing case law."

Valverde reduced the discipline from firing to a written reprimand and
ordered the city to reinstate Denton with back pay and benefits.

The city has released police videos in which Denton can be seen stepping
on the head, stretching the handcuffed arms and appearing to elbow the
face of a Collinsville man who was arrested on a public intoxication
complaint on June 30, 2011.

4. Question a cop

When you meet a cop the only words out of your mouth should be "Yes sir, and No sir."

**Just my opinion because it's always a losing battle with a police officer. 🙁
