:music:I've become so numb I can't feel you there
I've become so tired so much more aware
I'm becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you:music:

This is the kind of advice you should expect from ATOT.

Definately see a neurologist. My wife had similar symptoms and was diagnosed with MS about 5 years ago. Took an MRI of the brain and spinal cord to determine the cause.

you doc is a numbskull. temporary numbs on one side that goes away is not a sign of a stroke. paralyze would be permanent or take a while to recover from. What you got is an alignment problem. You probably have to guess get a chiro or deep massage. Being on the computer is really bad.

MS was the first thing that came to my mind too.

Also thought blood clots
Possible tumor (its not a too-mah)

I hope it's nothing though...

This happened to me about a year ago. I was going through a TON of stress in my life (almost got a divorce at the time, luckily we patched things up). It happened twice, and I was freaking out.

The doctor said it was from all the stress. Since my life's been back in order it hasn't come back.

I'm not thinking stroke, I'm thinking pinched nerve at a vertebrae, maybe in your neck. I'm no M.D., though. Yeah, I wouldn't wait, I'd see a specialist or maybe more, hopefully someone good and consciencious and who you can communicate with. I'd do that before getting on a pill regimen, especially because you aren't into that - neither am I. What kind of pills did the doctor put you on to thin your blood? That can be something as simple as baby aspirin. That shouldn't screw you up. I take one of those a day, the only medication I take. They are about 80 mg - a regular aspirin is around 240 mg, I think.

Heh, thanks :thumbsup::D

I just asked my parents what my family history is like...
Mom's father died at 70 with a heart attack.
Mom's mother died at 68 with two forms of cancer.
Dad's father had single heart bypass surgery (alive - 83).
Dad's mother had 3 forms of cancer and diabetes (alive - 76).

Mom and Dad are both healthy, minus bad cholestrol.

Is this history good or bad?

about average

I tend to side with Nickel on this one. First see the nuerologist then a chiropractor. My father-in-law had something similier, after the x-rays and all they found a chip from the spinal column pushing against one of the nerves. It was a quick and simple operation and though he has a frankenstein scar he doesn't have any issues.
