Half Life saved games

Years ago when I playd this game I didnt finish it but got a long way thru it. I just started again but I want to skip ahead. Anyone have a saved game from somewhere in the middle? I dont even know where they are stored or if they can be transferred.

I could have helped you if you asked me last week. I just recently starting playing the entire campaign all the way through from the beginning. I finished the original HL campaign a few days ago, and have moved on to the Opposing Force expansion.

The only saved games I still have for the original HL is at the final boss.

Why not just cheat and jump to the last level that you remember?

Just use the codes to jump to a map in the middle. You might have to use the cheats to give you some decent ammo as well.

is xen the final level? is it where you are in space on some mushroom type thingys?

Xen is the first alien level. You've still several levels before the final boss, though.
