Half-Life: Counter-Strike Problem

I will be playing and all of a sudden my cursor comes up every 5 seconds or so as my crosshair and messes up my aim. How do I get rid of this?

I found out my busy cursor bleeds through all games.

Maybe you should figure out why you are getting a 'busy' cursor when playing a game at all (that ain't normal). What's running besides the game?

All i can tell you is that maybe its time to just un-install HL and CS altoghether, re-install HL, download the latest patch for HL, and then download CS 1.0 Full. Thats all i can really tell you to do. Tell me if that works if you try it, becuase it might just be a conflict in the drivers with your mouse, a re-install should do it. Lemme know if it works, hope it helps!

Im glad i helped out!! And i know the pain of having a handicap in CS (use to have a 200mhz processor, but now my 556 is MUCH better)

also not to many people know but you can change the cursor color. adjust_crosshair or you can bind it I use f12 "bind f12 adjust_crosshair"

Thanks for the crosshair color changer bind... I found out why my system was making the busy sign... it was because "something" is taking over my processor and I'm still trying to figure out what the heck is taking up my processing.....
