I forgot where do you get it in the registry again? My stupid friend lost my cd-key and I want it before I reformat, thanks!

It's on the jewel case of the cd.

BTW I still can't understand why they can't put the sticker on the cd itself.

thats why i write all my cd keys onto the cd itself...works for me i just put it on w/ a ultra point sharpie and place it on a solid colored area

go to users/default/software/valve/settings/ it's in there

you can't put a sticker on the cd. the extra weight on one side will cause havoc when it's spinning at high speeds (think! 7000+ rpm!).

well they should then put a donut shaped sticker on the CD.
